FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does video generation work?+

You describe a scene or upload an image, choose a model, aspect ratio and duration, and Cineliora sends the job to a commercial AI video provider. You can leave the page — the result appears in your library when it's ready.

What are credits?+

Credits track video usage. Accounts receive 20 welcome credits. Standard 720p generation costs 5 credits for 5 seconds or 10 for 10 seconds, shown before confirmation. Subscription allowances and credit packs are not yet confirmed; purchases are unavailable.

How long does a generation take?+

Usually between one and a few minutes, depending on the model, length and provider load. We show the real job status rather than an invented progress bar.

Can I use videos commercially?+

You remain responsible for rights to uploaded images, likenesses, music and other content. Commercial use is subject to applicable law and the AI provider's terms; Cineliora cannot guarantee copyright protection or clearance. Final commercial-use terms are pending legal review.

Which formats are supported?+

Videos download as MP4. Image-to-video accepts JPG and PNG, plus WEBP where the model supports it.

What happens if a generation fails?+

Credits are reserved when you start a job and released automatically if the provider fails.

Can I get a refund?+

Live payments are not enabled. The refund policy is a draft awaiting approval; no cash-refund eligibility is promised. Failed generation jobs release their reserved Cineliora credits, which is separate from a monetary refund.

Can I cancel my subscription?+

Subscriptions cannot currently be purchased. Cancellation timing, remaining access and credit handling will be confirmed before live payments launch. The Billing page does not currently provide connected payment management.

What happens to images I upload?+

Images are stored privately. The current video integration sends image data inline to the AI provider to process the request. Provider retention and cross-border details are still being confirmed; private storage does not mean the provider never receives your images.

Are 1080p and 4K available?+

No. Current generation is 720p. Creator's intended 1080p and Studio's intended 4K limits remain disabled until output and costs are verified and approved. Higher outputs are AI-upscaled, not native 4K; human motion and facial consistency are not guaranteed.
